Dove believes that beauty should be a source of confidence, not anxiety, and for years Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty has sought to champion a broader and more inclusive definition of the word beauty. 

With this in mind, we were delighted to hear that a new range of Barbie dolls, in body-shapes, skin-tones and hair-textures that reflect the broader reality of beautiful women everywhere, will now be available to buy in stores across the world.

We thought Dove should celebrate that a new generation of children will be growing up referencing a more inclusive definition of beauty, and the healthy self-esteem that comes with it, by taking to Facebook with a message that simply said “Thank you, Barbie.”
