Marshall Manson is CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations in the UK. He looks after a team of more than 100 brand marketing, corporate communications, social, and content experts. Marshall’s background is in digital, social and politics, and he’s passionate about helping clients shape breakthrough communications which earn attention, space, scale and engagement.
Previously, Marshall was Managing Director of Social@Ogilvy for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. As a leader in social media marketing and digital communications, he’s driven social media initiatives for clients like BP, Nestle, and British Airways.
Prior to joining Ogilvy, Marshall was EMEA Managing Director of Digital for Edelman, where he led digital activities for BlackBerry, Dove and Johnnie Walker. He also provided real-time crisis counsel to Diageo, the BBC, and YUM! brands.
In 2014, Marshall recently authored an Ogilvy “red paper” entitled Facebook Zero, which evaluated the consequences of the decline in organic reach for branded Facebook communities.
Prior to Edelman, Marshall worked in U.S. political campaigns.
Marshall is an enthusiastic if not very gifted photographer and is interested in history, politics, and travel. He lives in South East London with his wife and their beagle, Cody.
