Michael is CEO of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Ogilvy Public Relations –he oversees the work of the Public Relations businesses across the Region. With a permanent eye on the future of the discipline, Michael advises clients and teams alike on how PR is innovating and growing and its role within the integrated marketing landscape.
Previously Michael was UK CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations, leading a multi award winning agency which has become the cornerstone of the global network. Before that, Michael spent two decades, working in and leading some of the UKs most influential clients and agencies, with a particular focus on developing brand and communications strategies for some of the world’s largest brands as well as representing former President Gorbachev and his legacy projects.
In 2014, Michael was appointed to the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) Board of Management to represent the UK. In addition, Michael frequently judges various PR awards, is a keynote speaker at industry and client conferences and contributor to industry publications.
